The Maine State bird is the black-capped chickadee. I love this fabric. It has gold threads weaved into it its 100% cotton. This is a 6 inch wide by 9 inch tall book with 72 pages of Mohawk Superfine paper. The inside front and back pages are of birch trees design paper that I fell in love when I saw them. This is a German Flat Back Case Binding developed by German binders. You don't see the underlying stitches as they are covered by a piece of the bookboard thus making it a flat back. This book is good for journaling, but not for artwork because it does not lay flat.
